Ian McIntosh

Ian works and lives in Markham along with his wife Nancy and two teenage boys. He is a graduate of the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, and the President and CEO of Corporate Benefit Consultants Ltd.

Ian’s insurance career started in 1981 in the Group Operations of a major Canadian Insurer. He spent nine years in Toronto and Calgary as a Group Underwriter and Group Sales Representative before starting his own consulting firm in January 1990. For the next 13 years, Ian grew Corporate Benefit Consultants Ltd. into what is today, one of the leading providers of group life, health and pension consulting services in Ontario.

Carla Kennedy

Carla joined Corporate Benefit Consultants in January 2006 as a Sr. Group Marketing Associate. Carla’s skills and experience involve her in most aspects of the daily operation of Corporate Benefit Consultants.

Carla has spent over 20 years in the Group Benefits and Individual Life Insurance Industries working for large Canadian Insurers as well as Brokers and Consultants. Her experience includes Client Service, Marketing, Implementation, Administration and Billing processes.

Craig Terry

Craig joined the Corporate Benefits Consulting team in April of 2005. He has been in the Group Insurance business for over 30 years, all in the Toronto area. Starting as a Group Service Representative, Craig was quickly promoted to Sales Representative and spent five years as Regional Group Manager with one of Canada's leading insurers.

Craig has also been Vice President of a large Brokerage firm and National Director of Sales for a Special Risk company. His considerable technical expertise and solid group background will prove extremely useful in his new role as Senior Benefits Consultant.

David Mannila

David graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelors of Mathematics in 1980. David then received a MBA from the University of Toronto in 1982.

In 1991, after nine years with a major life insurance company where he acquired experience in the group pension market place, David started his consulting career. He joined Corporate Benefit Consultants in 1995 as a Pension Consultant.

Justin Terry

Justin joined Corporate Benefit Consultants in February 2006 as a Marketing Associate/Service Representative. Justin obtained his Life License in December 2007 and has demonstrated an energetic approach to his current position as Sales Associate with the Sales/Consulting team at CBCL. Justin’s previous experience in marketing and service will serve him well in his role on the Sales Team.
